Stephen speaks with host Zach Rhoads about one of Zach's talks with Johann Hari (author of "Lost Connections"). Stephen provides insight about language and culture that may help Westerners understand (and contend with) why we have trouble meeting our psychological needs.
Stephen has traveled to many countries, learning "indigenous languages"; learning about the cultures in which the languages are spoken; and-- perhaps most importantly-- trying to abstract a link between language and culture in a universal context.
